We've created Departments to help assist our Users in segregating both the learning content as well as the permissions assigned to Team Members of their Campus.

Just as a Course is a container for multiple Modules, a Department is a container for multiple Courses. You can create many Courses within your Campus and group these Courses by Departments. 

To view your Departments, click on the 'Manage' tab and select 'Team'.

Why would I create different Departments?

The first reason to create new Departments is to segregate specific Modules and utilise the Department filter. This allows you to quickly view Department specific content.

The second reason to use multiple Departments is to give a User access to each Module within the Department, as opposed to giving access to each individual Module. This makes the process of granting permissions much more efficient.
